There’s clinical evidence. A Northwestern University study published in JAMA Dermatology found that 20 weeks of face yoga made participants appear nearly 3 years younger on average. The face has over 40 muscles — like any muscle, they respond to targeted exercise, improving circulation, reducing tension, and restoring volume. Results depend on doing the right exercises for your specific type, consistently.

This is the most common thing we hear — and it almost always comes down to doing the wrong exercises for your aging type, or technique that’s slightly off. Generic programs don’t account for how your specific face ages. The Aging Type Method starts by identifying your pattern, then builds everything around that. Different aging types respond differently — and sometimes oppositely — to the same exercises. For example, exercises that help a Brigitte (sagging) type can add unwanted bulk to a Cindy (muscular) type. Without knowing your type, you’re guessing.
